Pero kapag nakaabot ka na sa taas sulit na sulit ang lahat ng hirap.
Alaró es uno de los tres castillos roqueros de Mallorca. En el monte hubo una fortificación en época romana y en época árabe. En 1229, durante la reconquista de Mallorca, grupos de musulmanes huyen cuando el rey Jaime I entra en Madina Mayurqa, la ciudad musulmana más importante de la isla, y se refugian en las montañas, en los castillos roqueros de Santueri, del Rey y de Alaró, donde resistirán hasta 1231. Ante el portón de acceso hay una marca redonda que la leyenda atribuye a la pisada del caballo de Jaime I. Junto a los restos del castillo, hay una hospedería y una ermita. Su propiedad está compartida: la hospedería y la capilla son propiedad de la diócesis de Mallorca, el camino de acceso es propiedad del ayuntamiento de Alaró, las murallas son propiedad del gobierno de España y el resto es de un propietario privado. 5MV-Y2- Mallorca: Bunyola to Alaró (in a little over five minutes). - On the 2nd of April 2022 I rode this route 🤍strava.com/activities/6921046852 which was 77km long and covered just under 1000m of climbing. Much of the route was 'relatively' uninteresting but I mainly rode the route for the section from Bunyola to Alaró which passed over the 550m Coll d'Honor. This is a video montage of the ride for that beautiful section; you can travel the route too, just a lot faster than I was going. I was suffering Covid symptoms at the time so I took it relatively easy, particularly on the climbs. I tried to keep my average heart rate to below 120 BPM (actual 121BPM) and my maximum to below 140BPM (not quite so sucessful). = About the 5MV channel My name is Terry and I love cycling. I have named my channel “Five Minute Velo” (5MV). I have called it 5MV because the videos I upload will last no longer than five minutes, many will be much shorter. Each video will cover just one subject that is described in the title. Although the channel is mainly about cycling on the road, I will also cover some light (gravel) off road riding and cycle touring from time to time. No matter what, much of the advice will be pertinent to many branches of the sport/pastime. I am new to posting videos on YouTube (May 2020) and I have much to learn, particularly in terms of presentation style and production quality. In unfassbarer Ruhe auf dem Wanderweg von Alaró nach Orient liegt diese wunderschöne, rustikale Finca mit fantastischem Blick auf die umliegenden Berge der Tramuntana. Nur 1 km vom Dorf Alaró entfernt, mit viel Privatsphäre wurde die Finca vor über 350 Jahren erbaut und vor 14 Jahren modernisiert. Die ca. 460 qm Wohnfläche verteilen sich auf 2 Ebenen mit einer großen, offenen Küche und dem Essbereich, einer separaten mallorquinischen Küche, 4 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer (eines en Suite), ein Wohnbereich mit Galerie und ein großes Untergeschoss das als Garage/ Abstellräume zur Zeit dient. Allein von der Küche aus kann man den Kaffee am Morgen durch die großen Fenster genießen. Die angrenzende Terrasse lässt den gesamten Blick auf den kompletten Berg von einer Größe mit 176.090 qm nur erahnen. Außerdem gibt es ein Gästehaus mit ca. 71 qm für ein Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer. Angrenzend an der Auffahrt befinden sich kleine Häuser mit Dach, diese waren mal Ziegenställe. Dieses mallorquinische Anwesen verfügt über Fliesen- und Terrakotta-Fußböden, ISO-Fenster, Fußbodenheizung, Kamine, ein Pool ca. 42 qm, Sonnenkollektoren zur Stromerzeugung und Bergwasser für die Wasserversorgung. Von der sehr kleinen Straßenrand-Haltebucht des engen Sträßleins am Hotel "L‘Hermitage" bei Orient wandern wir los. Zunächst geht es sacht bergan durch alte Olivenhaine mit schöner Aussicht gegen die Höhen des Tramuntana. Dann geht es steiler, auf Trittspuren durch einen Steineichenwald bis wir auf einen unbefestigten Parkplatz stoßen. Von hier führt ein teils gepflasterter, teils mit Steinstufen erschlossener Weg in 30 Minuten hinauf zu den Resten des Castell d'Alaro. Wir gehen zunächst etwa 15 Minuten weiter bergan zum Felsplateau des Puig d'Alaro mit dem Kloster und einer kleinen Bar. Im Abstieg erkunden wir noch die Ruinen des Castells näher und kehren danach auf dem gleichen Weg zu unserem Mietwagen zurück. Zeit: Hin und zurück ca. 3 Std. Die Strecke auf Komoot (nicht von uns!) : 🤍 Hoch auf dem Berggipfel des Puig d´Alaro befindet sich das Castell d´Alaro. Wer seinen Urlaub auf Mallorca verbringt, der sollte einmal über eine Wanderung zur alten Festung nachdenken, denn hier bekommt man die Gelegenheit, ein Stück Inselgeschichte hautnah zu erleben. Wann genau das Castell Alaro errichtet wurde, kann nicht mit Sicherheit gesagt werden. Man weiß jedoch, dass die Befestigungsanlage bereits in der Bronzezeit erbaut worden sein muss und später von den Römern zur Absicherung der umliegenden Täler genutzt wurde. Aber die Römer waren nicht die Einzigen, die das Castell als Stützpunkt nutzten, auch die Sarazenen lieferten sich hier blutige Schlachten gegen ihre Feinde. Bei der Wanderung zum Castell d’ Alaró können je nach Fitnesszustand verschiedene Wege eingeschlagen werden. Die Wege führen vorbei an alte, gepflegte Olivenhaine auf Karrenwegen oder alten Pilgerpfaden hinauf zur verfallenen Festung dem Castell d’ Alaró, in welches im 17. Jhd. ein Kloster hinein gebaut wurde. Im Jahre 1229 als Jaume I. die Insel von den Muslimen befreien und sie zurückerobern wollte stand das Castell d´Alaro felsenfest in deren Händen und strotze, als Verteidigungsanlage, dem Anstürmen. Aber Kriege werden nicht nur durch Waffengewalt entschieden. Die Strategie des Aushungerns führte letztendlich zum Erfolg. Heute ist von alldem nichts mehr zu merken. Die Burg, die im Osten Mallorcas liegt, wird heute regelmäßig von Urlaubern besucht, die sich für die spannenden Legenden der Zitadelle interessieren. Zahlreiche Aufzeichnungen und Überlieferungen erzählen eine blutige Geschichte. Nach den Römern und den Sarazenen waren es die Templer, die sich in der Anlage einrichteten. Sie bauen das Castell im Laufe der Zeit immer weiter aus. Aus den anfangs zwei Türmen des Castells wurden rasch fünf, von denen man einen fantastischen Blick auf das umliegende Land hat. Aber es war nicht die Aussicht, die die Templer interessierte, sie bezweckten mit dem Bau der Türme einzig und allein eine rechtzeitige Warnung vor den Feinden. In der heutigen Zeit können die Besucher des Castells von Alaro die Türme leider nicht mehr betreten. Vier der Türme wurden komplett vernichtet und der fünfte, der Hauptturm, ist aufgrund der Einsturzgefahr nicht mehr begehbar. Aber auch so hat man einen sehr guten Blick über das Land, denn das Kastell d´Alaro liegt in 825 Metern Höhe und der Eintritt ist kostenlos. Als Belohnung kann man hier oben die herrliche Fernsicht über den Norden von Mallorca geniessen und an klaren Tagen bis zur Nachbarinsel Menorca blicken. Verweilen und Insich kehren die Dezembersonne auf der Haut spüren und einfach nur dasitzen ist auch ein Stück Urlaub erleben. Neben einer Aussichtsplattform gibt es noch eine kleine Bar in der man sich für den ebenso leichten Abstieg etwas stärken kann. Eine wunderbare Aussicht genießen Sie von der Kloster-Anlage mit Blicken über die Bergwelt Mallorcas bis zur südlich gelegenen Palma-Bucht. Auch über einen phantastischen Rundumblick auf die nördliche Serra de Tramuntana können Sie von hieraus erfreuen. Einen Cortado und ein Stück feinen Kuchen zu sich genommen wandert man nach kurzer Besichtigung der mallorquinischen Landschaft wieder hinunter.
