I just figured it out that if I open Xbox game bar during gameplay the FPS issue fixed so I have done this trick, watch the whole video with subtitles. It looks like overlaying something fixing the issue. This is Windows store version (Windows 11) and no other fix worked for me before. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a cinematic psychological horror action-adventure video game developed and published by Ninja Theory for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4. It is described as an "independent AAA" game by the developer. Ninja Theory has called Hellblade an "independent AAA" game, by which they mean that it was developed and published independently but with all the quality and production values of any AAA game on the market. Thanks to cruisinbyonawhim for posting it on reddit, and thanks to 8Bobfish for giving him the solution. The graphics will lower a bit with this, but the game will be much more playable. Its still a little bit choppy on my recording because I don't have a pretty good PC. You have no idea how that section actually works with out this... probably should've recorded it first :P Hope it helps anyone that might look for a solution around youtube. This is the comparison between DX11 vs DX12 in "Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice" game (enhanced edition). The first one provides noticeably better GPU performance and smoother CPU performance. DX12 suffers from more frequent and more severe stutters, which sometimes turn into micro-freezes. You should use DX12 only if you are interested in DXR effects or you have multicore CPU with low single core performance (something like Intel Xeon E5-2689). Graphics quality is set to "Very High" in both cases. During GPU benchmark resolution was set to 1080p and FSR was disabled. During CPU benchmark resolution was decreased to 720p and FSR was set to "Quality" to eliminate GPU bottleneck. Here, on PC, we get the usual extra fine tuning for these settings, with Raytraced Reflections and Shadows and DLSS 2.3. Raytracing has 3 presets here: Low, Medium and High, and only the High RT preset adds Raytraced Shadows, whereas Reflections are raytraced at Low and Medium settings already. The issue I found is that High Raytracing Settings remove some of the shadowing and lighting in certain areas where even Low RT or no raytracing at all, had them, so this is strange and don’t know if it’s an issue with the implementation of the Raytraced Shadows which, as I mentioned, only appear when High Raytracing is used, otherwise at lower settings the game will use its regular shadows. The conclusion is simple, for now, until they fix or improve it, if indeed it’s a fault on their implementation: it’s best to just use Medium Raytracing settings, or even Low, if you need the extra performance, as those two profiles I reckon look best, compared to High Raytracing. Another big issue I found, is that the game now seems to stutter a lot when loading new areas or even some enemies, and it may be related to DX12 shader / caching issues, like it happen or has happened in the past with other DX12 games, like The Ascent. The stutter seems to improve a bit the more we play and, quite possibly, the game caches more data, but I don’t think there’s a tweak or fix we can do for now, until a proper patch is released. Overall, the game gains a lot, visually, with the new Raytraced Reflections, compared to the regular Screen Space Reflections it normally used, and still does, when Raytracing is disabled, so I think what’s left is that they fix those stutter / asset loading issues. Playthrough of the PC version of Star Trek: Elite Force II. Played on Normal skill level, grabbing every secret and collectible, Proper widescreen FoV, 1080p60fps, and with no voice comments. Sequel for the 2000 shooter, also sporting the Quake III engine, but heavily modified by the folks at Ritual Entertainment (SiN), another standard but entertaining shooter, but with lots of easter eggs. Please note that the graphical settings are NOT maxed, I disabled stencil shadows because during gameplay, they look OK most of the time, but during the cutscenes they fail badly on the character's faces, so bad that they drew me out from the cutscene. The stencil shadows in the Quake III engine were experimental and never finished, we had to wait until Doom3 for that. Also, those shadow meant severe performance hits on open environments, even on modern hardware... and what the heck, even with them disabled you'll notice FPS drops all the time... BAD optimization. Also, the FoV would reset upon loading a new level, so I bound it to a key to fix it every time, you'll notice it at the begining of every vid :P - Playthrough de la versión de PC de Star Trek: Elite Force II. Jugado en dificultad "Normal", obteniendo todos los secretos y coleccionables, con el FoV apropiado para pantallas panoramicas, 1080p60fps, sin comentarios en voz. Secuela del shooter del 2000, usando también el motor del QuakeIII, pero muy modificado por la gente de Ritual Enterntainment (SiN), otro shooter estándar pero entretenido, y con un montón de huevos de pascua. Tened en cuenta que los gráficos NO están al tope, desactive las sombras 'Stencil' porque durante el juego lucen OK la mayor parte del tiempo, pero en las escenas fallan horriblemente en las caras de los personajes, tanto que le restan toda la inmersión al asunto. Las Stencil estaban implementadas experimentalmente en el motor del QuakeIII, pero hubo que esperar a Doom3 para que las terminasen. Además, activarlas significaba bajones de rendimiento importantes en áreas abiertas, incluso en hardware moderno... Y que carajo, incluso con ellas desactivadas también os dareis cuenta de las bajadas de FPS todo el rato... MALA optimización. Por cierto, FoV se resetea cada vez que se cambia de nivel, así que tuve que asignarlo a una tecla para ponerlo bien cada vez, lo vereis al principio de cada vídeo.
