Where do I begin...Attempted this project years ago, but didn't possess the necessary skillset to see it through to proper completion. Decided somewhat randomly, partially due to a comment about having more time than sense ;) to try again, as I hadn't seen much (if any) real movement on the internet bringing it to this finished state. I've since become aware of a few efforts to preserve this film, however, I am unaware as to their current % of completion. Is this version the holy, frame accurate in every way, shape, and form remaster die-hard purists will accept?...unfortunately not. Am I proud of what I've accomplished with this project? Yes, I am. Through a number of mind numbing edit sessions, footage curation, some upscaling, audio syncing, and general trial & error, what we now have here is an acceptable high definition experience, that allows Robotech fans to safely retire their muddy, VHS bootlegs. Will this in turn be bootlegged, and sold on eBay? Probably, lol. Some creative liberties were taken in regards to font/typeface choices, however, my primary objective was to create a cohesive whole, that would respectfully represent the movie in it's last known finished state (albeit in far greater clarity than most have seen). Thank you so very much to the YouTube user who posted a Laserdisc capture *years ago* (that I'd only recently discovered), along with my Twitter mates Jeremy & Turlough, for all of their general assistance and intense proofing. The initial "engagement" was a decoy to lure part of the Robotech forces away from the SDF-1. Zentraedi/Zentradi main attack force press forward. After several months and many revisions, it is finally done!!! I think. It stands roughly 3 feet tall (about 90cm), has 17 servos controlled via Bluetooth by an Arduino Nano. Like and subscribe so I can make more videos like this... or better!

In this video, you will need to set up or find an area that contains objects for the dog to climb over, jump on, etc. Have someone hold the dog back and then throw the toy somewhere in that area. Let the dog go once the toy lands. Repeat about 3-4 more times, throwing the toy into different areas each time. In celebration of the re-release of a digitally remastered and re-cut ROBOTECH: THE SENTINELS feature film on DVD, i made a comic video that continues the story of ROBOTECH: THE SENTINELS right up to the launch of the SDF-3. Yes there is hardly any action, but ROBOTECH has never been just about mecha and battles. There is drama and even comedy too. Like my previous comic video, i tried to time the panels to a moderate speed reading of the dialogue. Pictures are from the now out-of-print Robotech The Sentinels comic by the Waltrip brothers, published by Eternity comics. Music is from the Robotech 20th anniversary soundtrack. Please pardon the Sentinels prologue footage. For some reason, my movie maker stretched it to 16x9 widescreen when it is originally 4x3.
