For the latest Subaru Impreza pricing and information: 🤍 Your Car's Value: 🤍kbb.com/whats-my-car-worth/ Not only is the 2024 Impreza offered as a hatchback, but it will not be offered as a sedan. So, sadly buyers will have to make do with the superior cargo flexibility of a hatchback. Sorry, America. According to Subaru’s press release, the 6th gen Impreza benefits from a 10% increase in torsional rigidity. They’ve also increased the use of structural adhesives and worked to reduce interior noise. So, presumably this Impreza will be a more pleasant one to drive. I look forward to verifying that premise. Of course, all-wheel drive comes standard and, if you’re wondering about the engine, a 2-liter 4-cylinder (152hp, 145 lb-ft) comes on the base and Sport trims. But at the top of the Impreza lineup is the new RS trim, which features a 2.5-liter engine offering a decent bump in power (182hp, 178 lb-ft). We’ll talk more about that RS shortly but let me first note that the only transmission available is a continuously variable unit that includes an 8-speed manual mode on the Sport and RS trims. For those following Subaru’s active safety strategy, its manual equipped cars, for some reason, don’t get the company’s EyeSight suite of active driver assist tech. And before you leave a comment saying you can’t add a feature like automatic emergency braking to a manual-equipped car, go take a look at the manual-only Honda Civic Si. Anyway, with the manual gone, the entire Impreza lineup now gets EyeSight. The system has been enhanced with a range of improvements including wider field of view, imparting all 3 trims with lane keeping assist, dynamic cruise control, and automatic emergency braking with bicyclist and pedestrian detection. And on models with blind spot warning there’s an automatic steering feature that can help drivers steer around danger at speeds less than 50 miles per hour. By the way, if you’re scheming to buy a 2024 Impreza of your own, you might need to offload your current car first. Kelley Blue Book can tell you what your current car is worth…whether you want to sell it or trade it in. There’s a link in the description with all the details. Ok, as promised I will now talk about the RS trim. In addition to extra power, it also includes gunmetal and fake carbon fiber interior trim, aluminum pedals, along with 18” dark gray wheels, stylized side skirts, and, of course, RS badges, plus a range of other enhancements. In base form the Impreza includes dual 7-inch infotainment screens, dual-zone climate control, and, as previously mentioned, a robust suite of driver assist features. Move up to the Sport or RS trims though and you’ll get 18” wheels, Subaru’s SI-Drive performance management system, smart key access, plus a sport tuned suspension, and this 11.6” infotainment screen offering OTA and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It’s a visually pleasing interface. Big icons, some physical buttons. Works well in the WRX and it works well here. Fuel economy figures and pricing info won’t be released until closer to the Impreza’s launch date in the Spring of 2023. But for now, we know that the new Impreza looks handsome, is filled with safety features, and provides the superior functionality of a hatchback. The best Subaru Impreza WRX STi footage I took so far! In 2017 and 2018 I spotted many crazy modified Subaru Imprezas. I really like the boxer rumble especially when they are tuned well. This video includes power outputs from 240HP up to 700HP. My favourites are the Martini Impreza (GC8) and the 700HP Impreza (GD) that competes a 1200HP Nissan GTR!
