Smoked Beer Can Chicken w/my friends Chicken Rub 🍗 🍺 🔥 I have been obsessed with Girls Can Grill Christie Vanover’s rubs for the past month. Preheated my smoker for indirect cooking at medium high temp (around 350F) and added some Cowboy Charcoal hickory chunks for good flavor. Added a 3/4 full beer can into the chicken cavity and set it up straight. Placed it on the smoker and cooked it till it was 165F internal (about an hour). Sliced into it the chicken and I kid you not, my friend Anthony and I devoured the whole thing in 10 minutes. It was juicy and delicious. I highly recommend it. Find all of Girls Can Grill seasonings on Spiceology here: 🤍 🍻 👍 Ingredients: Chicken + Rub - 1 Whole Chicken, trimmed - 3 tbsp of Girls Can Grill Chicken Rub - 2 tbsp of Oil Steps: - Lather chicken with oil and season thoroughly with Chicken rub from Girls Can Grill. - Preheat grill to indirect cooking at medium high heat (around 350F). Add Cowboy Charcoal hickory chunks for added smoke flavor. - Place 3/4 full beer can into chicken cavity and set up straight. Add to smoker and cook until it hits 165F internal (about 1 hour). - Once done, pull off and let rest for 5 minutes then devour! Steaks on the Coals 🥩💨🌿🔥 This is part 4 of my series for unique ways to cook steak over fire and if they are worth it. Today we are doing a classic, steak on the coals. Normally you would cook a thinner cut of meat, but I wanted to cook some massive ribeyes right on the lump charcoal (make sure to use real wood like lump charcoal for this cook). I love venturing out into the middle of the woods with my backpack and creating a mouth watering meal among the elements of nature. This was my first time making a whole leg of lamb, over a fire, things were cooking VERY slowly so I decided to use the caveman method again and put the meat directly on the coals. Smoked Hot Dog Burnt Ends are a new party favorite 🌭💨🔥 Okay… so these Smoked Hot Dog Burnt Ends are not really “true” burnt ends. That being said, they were insanely delicious and carry many of the favorite flavors of burnt ends without the price & time! Crispy Steak and Shrimp Tacos 🥩🍤🌮🔥 A while back I made some Crispy BBQ Tacos, and I cannot get them out of the head. Today, we will grill up some skirt steak and shrimp to make some loaded surf and turf crispy tacos. The key to the crispy taco is the searing of the tortilla and using real shredded cheese. You get that cheesy goodness on the inside while the outside is nice and crispy. Served with a sweet but spicy Avocado Salsa for the win. So freakin delicious! My attempt at Mexican Steak Aguachile 🥩🌶️🌿🔥 Mexican Steak Aguachile is here and they’re taking our filet game to the next level! Inspired by Mexican Aguachile, I wanted to make something similar on steak but with some of my own twists. Grilled these filets until a nice medium rare, sliced and served with the sauce underneath. The citrus tang with the slight sourness of the vinegar really paired perfectly with the simple rub I used on these filets. Rotisserie Picanha w/Charred Garlic Chimichurri using my Gaucho Steakhouse Rub! 🍖 🌿 🔥 Got some delicious picanha the other day from Porter Road Butcher butcher, and wanted to test out my new Gaucho Steakhouse rub from Spiceology. Skewered it up and seasoned with olive oil +the rub. Added it over the hot Cowboy Charcoal, and grilled for about 1.5 hours until it was 120F internal. As the steak rested, I charred up some garlic cloves to make a Charred Garlic Chimichurri! Sliced and topped with the chimi is all you need to do after all that hard work. Epic cook using a killer new rub!!! Go grab my all my rubs now by clicking the link in my bio or visiting: 🤍 🍻 👍 Ingredients: Steak - 1 Whole Picanha, sliced into steaks - 2-3 tbsp of Gaucho Steakhouse Rub - 2 tbsp of Olive Oil Charred Garlic Chimichurri - 1/2 cup Parsley chopped - 5-6 Grilled Garlic, minced - 1 Serrano Pepper, finely chopped - 1/4 cup red wine vinegar - 1 tsp sea salt - 1 tsp fresh pepper - 1/4 cup olive oil Steps: - Season you’re picanha steaks with Gaucho Steakhouse and olive oil. Skewer onto your rotisserie skewer and let rest for 15 minutes at room temperature. While waiting, wrap your un-grilled garlic cloves in some tin foil. - Preheat your grill to medium heat, 300F. Add your picanha skewer onto grill and let cook for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature of the steak is 120F. While cooking, add the garlic into the fire and let cook for 3 minutes until charred. Pull steak and garlic off. Let steak rest for 10 minutes. - Mix all ingredients for chimichurri, including the chopped grilled garlic. - Slice picanha, top with chimichurri and enjoy!
