🤍 Played by: Tarosan Mega Man X6, known as Rockman X6 in Japan, is a video game developed by Capcom. It is the sixth main entry in the Mega Man X series. The game was first released on the PlayStation in Japan on November 29, 2001 and was later made available in both North America and Europe. The plot of Mega Man X6 takes place during the 22nd century where humans and intelligent androids called "Reploids" live together. The game follows shortly after the events of Mega Man X5 in which planet Earth was devastated by an attack by the "Maverick" leader Sigma and the protagonist Zero sacrificed his own life to save it. As the world recovers, a Maverick known only as the "Zero Nightmare" has begun spreading chaos. Zero's comrade Mega Man X, curious of its name, seeks out this new threat. Like past games in the series, Mega Man X6 is an action-platformer in which the player tackles a series of stages and adds the unique weapon of each boss to X's arsenal. Prominent series artist and producer Keiji Inafune was not involved in the game's production, as he had intended the fifth installment in the series to be the last with Zero's death. MORE COMMENT: People say that Megaman X7 is the worst game in the X series because of the botched attempt to make it 3D and expand out of it's platforming spectrum, well those bastards have never played X6 or complained about the insane level design, the rushed gameplay or the massive retcons it had destroying the impact that X5 had on the franchise. The Nightmare System is one of the most frustrating things Capcom has ever produced for a gaming system... it wasn't that bad when you had 16 hours to stop the colony from falling because there was a sense of urgency that helped you play better but Nightmare System takes the cake because it introduces gameplay elements that hampen, hinder and basically annoy the hell out of you and you can't do anything about it because it's there in your face and you have to work around it in order to get everything. The game starts you off as X with Zero's Saber but I unlocked Zero as soon as I could so I can get the best ending and then starting off by defeating the Investigators as X, I then alternate between X and Zero to clean up the items and defeating Dynamo 4 times each, then I used X in the first Gate level followed by Zero defeating High Max and Gate as I felt it was appropriate and then X kills off Sigma for good which Zero did the same as a bonus bit. The soundtrack however is the only thing GOOD about this game as it features a few remixes from older X titles that everyone will know but other than that, no matter how you feel when you see this video but if you get angry from watching this, remember I'm the one that had to play this 3 times just to get everything right so my mood after playing this is a bit HIGH! Overall this was a decent way to end the X series as Kenji Inafune reworked the X timeline before he left Capcom to be X1, X2, X3, X4, X5 and X6 whilst putting X7 and X8 as non-canon... thus I can't work with them. This longplay is dedicated to the memory of Ken the Robot Dog for he still remains M.I.A :( - Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!

This is a challenge walkthrough with attack restrictions Unarmored X is used almost all the time except for the second encounter vs High Max wich requires the upgrade saber of shador armor. So is neccesary reach the 4 capsules, Fortunately, in this title it is possible to do it using a saber glitch with "saber-weapon cancel". with it is possible reach long-air distances. This also helps to get amazon sub-tank needed to absorb enough damage to not die quickly in extreme mode. A no damage run is possible but it requires too much camping. Central museum level becomes 6 times longer and boring to watch. maybe another small exception with the shadow armor there would be a good idea. Gate lab 1 clearly requires 2 attachments to pass the spike section with unarmored x, jumper and Ice Burst, decided to use them instead shadow armor because the Nightmare mother boss becomes a bit trivial with Giga attack Available. In addition to what has already been mentioned, the video does not have much special, I hope you enjoy it :)
Mega Man X6 is certainly an interesting topic of conversation. To all those who know the history of the Mega Man franchise, it is certainly one of the more infamous Mega Man games, having been bashed and beaten to the ground on the internet countless times since it’s original release all the way back in 2001. It’s known for being rushed, punishing in obtuse ways and is just overall a punching bag that people really love coming back to, myself included. Five years ago, I uploaded my one hour rant on Mega Man X6, my most infamous video of all time. After thinking about for a very long time, I realized that a standard re-review just would not cut it for Mega Man X6. So, instead of trying to overwrite the original video, I decided to do something completely different. I am going to look at Mega Man X6 from a positive light, try to see the good in this game, and see if that changes anything as a result... * Mega Man X6 Tweaks: 🤍 Twitter ▶️ 🤍 Consider Supporting Me on Patreon: 🤍 * Chapters: 00:00 Mega Man X6: Five Years Later 05:40 X6 Does Some Things Better Than X5 09:47 Mega Man X and Zero 13:17 Simplifying X5's Systems 15:06 Mega Man X6 Tweaks 20:56 The Story of Mega Man X6 30:28 Has Anything Changed? * #MegaMan #MegaManX #MegaManX6
Original Upload Date: 2/13/17 Mega Man X6 is one of the worst video games I have ever played in my entire life. Sonic 06 I’d play in an instant over this abomination. I figured there was no better way to start this review than by diving in immediately. Before you watch this review, it is heavily recommended that you watch my reviews of the first five Mega Man X games which you can find in the all inclusive Mega Man X retrospective playlist. In my review of X5 the general theme was that X5 was the start of a huge downfall in quality that the Mega Man X Series went through. How amazing is it that it took only one game from X5 for the series to completely go off the rails, over the cliff and down to rock bottom. Yes I did just say that, this is the low point of the X Retrospective, maybe playing the 6th gen games again would change my mind, but I sincerely doubt that. I mean, how bad can your game be if it made me rethink my opinion of Sly Cooper Thieves in Time?! Pretty bad as you will find out by watching the video!
Man X6 is the sixth game in the Mega Man X franchise produced by Capcom, and the first not be directed by series creator Keiji Inafune. It was released in 2001 for PlayStation. Anyway, after all that incident of the previous game with the Eurasian Space Colony, the Maverick Hunters managed to save Earth and destroy Sigma once, but their victory cost a lot: The planet's surface was damaged and polluted to the point of being uninhabitable and humans had to start living their lives underground. Of course, the Maverick Hunters and other Reploids are being sent to the surface in an attempt to rebuild everything and make it habitable again, and remained so for three weeks with no Mavericks threat or anything of the sort. But an influential group of Reploids began to cause conflict, spreading rumors about visions of a mysterious phenomenon called Nightmare, which seemed to be centered on who Zero was. And though dead, Zero was seen by X in a viral form. Gate, the leader of the new organization Reploid sent eight of his investigators to analyze the facts. Yes, the bosses of the game are called investigators. X inherits the lightsaber from Zero and goes on to battle. Mega Man X6 is a game that really divided opinions: there are people who like this game and have others who hate it. I simply consider MMX6 to be a tenebrous game, extremely badly done, with one of the worst level design that ever existed in a game. The Nightmare Effects system, which causes various effects in the stages, was mainly done for you to pass anger. Did the developers think this would be a good thing? There are also enemies that only come to disrupt and leave blue spheres to be destroyed and they can infect weak reploids, which must be redeemed to add percentage and get some upgrades. As if not enough level design bad enough, the weapons do not have the charisma of previous games and certain situations is difficult or impossible to use them (for example, it is impossible to use the weapon Hyoroga, with Zero, against the boss Rainy Turtloid, fair the one that deals the most damage to this boss). The armor is much more beautiful than the previous games for sure and the soundtrack is very good. Playing this game at the level Xtreme is a torture, there is no item in the enemies and you need to ration the weapons. Better to play on a lower level. The video was done achieving the best end with X and the end of Zero (being that with it I made a save to play the last stage again) and saving all 128 reploids.
This is a tool-assisted speedrun. For more information, see 🤍 Capcom decided to make some easy money, so they recycled parts of Mega Man X5, threw in overly difficult trial-and-error gameplay, made almost everything an obstacle course, and called it Mega Man X6. Rescuing all Reploids on Xtreme mode is inadvisable for all but the most hardcore, yet this TAS makes it look easy. Not only that, it collects everything that can be collected before beating the game. In this run, Rolanmen1 uses additional items and tricks that are not present in the any% or all stages runs, such as X's Blade Armor. Though X still has less screentime than Zero, he is used to his fullest potential in the Gate stages.

🤍 Played by: Amy Rose A longplay of Rockman X6 (known as Mega Man X6) is the sixth game in the Mega Man X series and the final title in the series to be released for the Sony PlayStation. Both Mega Man X5 and Mega Man X6 were released after the launch of the PlayStation 2, so after the development and release of Mega Man X6, Capcom made the transition to the PlayStation 2. Mega Man X6 was developed and released on the original PlayStation mainly to reach out to a broader audience. The game was later re-released as part of the Mega Man X Collection, and it was released on the Playstation Network as part of the PSOne classics in Japan on July 8, 2015. - Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!

Exploring dangerous paths until they begin vanishing, I declare this is the best way to kill time! As love, work, and dreams hurry away, if we stay defeated or simply idle, we'll grow old fast. On cloudy days, we sigh, even more and much longer than we thought we did. Answer me, oh Moon Light who illuminate the night sky. Give me an "It's all right" thumb-up. The most important thing, is the way you live your life between your birth and death. Close your eyes and think about how you want to kill all that free time until your death. Explore your withered imagination with anything and everything at your disposal. When you get close, it moves away; when you seize it, it starts to break down. "Just a little more" continues on endlessly, and yet another day has passed by. That part of myself that's only an empty shell shrouded in a sense of helplessness, I'll just open my window and throw it out into the night sky. Oh, Moon Light, illuminate my path! Illuminate for me the path I must take! Oh, Moon Light, shine on me! Envelop me, who have lost the sun, with your light! Just try your best and do whatever you can. There's no need to be pessimistic. That's how I've always tried to comfort myself, but I still end up worried. When the rustling laughter of the children outside die down, night will soon arrive with a cold sneer.
