After owning my 2012 2.2 PUMA 110 Utility for over 12 months, this is my review and thoughts on living with a Defender and driving it on a regular basis. Is it comfy or noisy, are Defenders economical and fast enough to be used as a main car, can you take your family out in a Defender easily enough, is there enough leg space and elbow space as a driver or passenger, what about rear leg room too, what are the good bits / positives about owning a Defender and what are the bad bits / negatives to owning a Defender. Are they reliable and do the chassis really rust as bad as people say? This is my LR Defender with an unknown engine problem. Injectors are already checked. Compression is around 175 PSI for cylinder 1 and 2 and 240 PSI for cylinder 3 and 4, when engine is turned only with the starter...

semi common issue with puma defenders (and same engine in ford transits) where the seal at the injector seat between the washer and head / washer and injector fails and gas is blown into the rocker case on every compression stroke. Can hear the cyclical hissing noise. Next video shows after fix.
