ever think about, like, this idea that youre wanting something you cant reach? maybe not something specific, just a feeling of desire to grab something else thats not anywhere near you. maybe im not making sense, but i got this feeling from a youtube video that had a very nice background to it. it showed this anime girl with a cat, and they were both sleeping peacefully in this very pretty looking nighttime valley somewhere. lots of stars in the sky. all the kinds of melancholy, amazement, and longing that a picture like that could bring to a person is what i feel- i suppose.
so i guess at the point in which ive soaked in the artwork is when i then look at my life and act like there's something "not enough" about it. some parts of this good, where i get motivated to follow what i truly want to do and all, but other parts arent like that. those parts just make me feel like i need something, someone, i dunno in order to make me feel something lighter.
then i go and text some people on discord as if it'll substitute this feeling for something better.
its similar to feeling lonely. wanting a connection and all with some other human being who just gets you. its weird how life does that. something in our biology or whatever. ive noticed that writing and reading can help too. thats probably why ive been setting up my schedule to involve more of those things. the reading and writing, i mean. the funny thing is, ill often ignore my schedule and then feel bad about it. like tonight. playing games when i didnt want to. again.
i think at some point ill finally realize what i need to do to be better, and that should end up starting tomorrow. now is better than later and certainly nicer than never. right?
so yeah. guess i just felt like writing this to you would take off some of this negative pressure i feel on my heart right now.
its amazing what a seemingly simple picture in a youtube video can do to me. you know?
